Are you sure you didn't grow up in the depression. Everyone of your ideas are so cost conscious and creative they seem like something my grandmother would have done. Your ideas are so creative that they cut through all the blah blah from video creators saying the same thing. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas. Loved them all.

Sensible! We need to use this tip in other areas of life, too, when we may be tempted to impulse purchase (like clothes, home decor, etc.).

I really liked the binder clip hanger for tank tops, the tuna can watering guide, the handkerchief purse tissue holder and the dry erase calendar.

I do a lot of these already but got a few new ideas like the pt holder to bangle holder 😊 It is also is nice to see someone else reducing waste by repurposing. For tissue paper holder actually since tissues are expensive I put a toilet paper roll that I use only as tissues in the pretty box.

If you are fortunate enough to have a clothes line, you can use binder clips to dry “hang up” shirts and blouses that you don’t want clothespin marks on. Clip the binder clip over the clothesline, and then insert the hook of the hanger into the rounded wire ends of the binder clip. To keep all your clothes on hangers from accordion-ing together at the low point of your line, separate the binder clips from one another using clothespins. Long explanation, but easy to do.

Another tip to frugality is living below your means.

Wow! Our dollar store where I live in Canada, those racks are $4.25 It's no longer a "cheaper" alternative store here. Makes me want to make a trip to the US for a shopping spree.😀

I'm in Canada and those racks, I just bought one, at our dollar store here is $4.25 and the folding baskets are $5. Items usually start at $3 and up so aren't a real value if you need a few. I just use covered boxes but some things like those racks would be nice to have more of.

Nice to see some-one use items we all have instead of throwing them out. I watched a couple of organizing videos using $1 store items but our $1 store starts at $3-$5 Would have cost over $100 to buy all that I made. I took the ideas but used food boxes for many things. Kleenex boxes right size for soup mix, rice pkg. etc and pretty too. I make holders for pen, pencil, colored markers, etc from plastic rubbing alcohol bottles cover them with designed foil wrapping paper. Use empty toilet paper rolls as dividers to separate colors , types, etc. I used a toothpaste box covered with paper to put rulers in container with pens, etc. I used the box my case of canned tomatoes came in for rolls of wrapping paper, mac tac, etc. Its' narrow so fits in a confined spot or under a bed. Different sizes of jars for food storage or paint for vases, etc. Endless possibilities. Only cost was glue or tape as I repurposed the paper, too.
